10.06.2010 :: Album mastered & two songs in myspace !
Now the debut album 'Sleep Paralyses' is finally mastered!
We had to go all the way to Stockholm, Sweden to complete the album
and get just the sound what we were looking for. The album was mastered by
Björn Engelmann in Cutting Room Studios.
We've uploaded two freshly mastered tracks from the album to myspace for everyone to listen!
The songs are titled "Whispering" and "Indian Fall" and you can listen them in our myspace:

Sleep Paralyses album contains 8 tracks of atmospheric, soulful melodic metal
music with lots of variations and different kind of moods.
Now we're looking for a record-company to release it!

11.05.2010 :: Mastering of debut album Sleep Paralyses
Finally it's time to finish the album and head ourselves to Sweden for mastering of the album. The mastering will be done by Björn Engelmann in Cutting Room studios, Stockholm. The date is 26th of May, so there's only about two weeks until the album is finally finished and then the ruthless hunt for a record deal begins! :)

For those who didn't get their own copy of the 3-track promotional cd of the album "Sleep Paralyses", we uploaded

The album will be called "Sleep Paralyses" and on the left you can see the cover art of the album.
Cover art was done by Jan Yrlund from Darkgrove Design.
The mixing of the album has begun and we wanted to get something for you to listen, so we uploaded one brand new song to myspace.

14.12.2009 :: Debut album recordings started & dotma-blog created!
Well, hell-o there everyone! ;) We've started our debut album recordings in the
7th of December at Rockstar Productions studio in Hyvinkää, Finland
and we're almost done with the drumrecordings!
We've also created a blog, so the latest "studio-diaries" and other blurbs can be found there! You can find it in the address below!

28.11.2009 :: Line-up change: Lasse leaves Dotma and new guitarist Leo fills his place!
Now we're at a point that Lasse has decided to leave Dotma for personal reasons.
Although, Lasse will be visiting on our debut album by playing some of his solos to the old songs.
So, of course now we will introduce you to our new guitarist Leo Saarnisalo.
He's a talented and motivated musician from Helsinki, Finland.
We've already been training with him for the debut album recordings and everything
is going great so you will hear his handywork in the album for the first time!
Recordings itself will go normally in schedule and it means that next week we're in studio folks! ;)

Hi there dear fellows! We've finally started booking shows for the year 2010 and in the meantime we got some reviews
of the "Dances with the Shadows" promo-cd also.

10.09.2009 :: Studio for debut album recordings booked & searching for a guitarist!
We have finally booked a studio for the recordings of our debut album.
Recordings will take place at Rockstar Productions studio in Hyvinkää, Finland
starting on 7th December 2009.
The album will include many different kind of songs and the
athmosphere and mood will vary a lot. Oh, and in addition,
there will be at least 5 brand new UNHEARD songs for you guys!!
We have also another announcement to make. Dotma is
currently in search for a new guitarist! As it is, we
are going to start the album recordings pretty soon,
so the time is limited.
However, in case we cannot find a new guitarist for the
time being, we are interested in working with studio
musicians as well! So everyone who have two hands, are
capable of doing some guitar playing (obviously)
and who believe to fit in the hilarious Dotma crew, please contact:

16.06.2009 :: Dotma starts rehearsing for the upcoming album and is also looking for a master-deal!
So, it's time for us to take a little break from stages and focus on the upcoming debut album.
Harri and Johanna has some composing and writing to do and then there's a bunch of songs to be
rehearsed. Recordings of the album will start by the end of the fall 2009.

28.01.2009 :: NEW SONG UPLOADED TO MYSPACE & D-NEWS!
Now, well, we've got some interesting news for you all.
Our journey with drummer Teppo Salonen has ended, and
we've been training new songs with Joonas Pykälä-Aho (Thaurorod, Lathspell, Amberian Dawn).
We're going to head our asses to Rockstar Productions Studio, Hyvinkää next week (2nd of February) to record
three new songs which will be featured on our debut album, which we will record during this year.
... and ofcourse for those who are interested to hear,
we've uploaded a demo version of one of our new songs.

A lot has happened in past couple of months and first of all, we're proud to present you our new drummer Teppo Salonen!
...and second of all, We have finally booked a studio for the recordings of the upcoming promo-cd which will take
place at Rockstar Productions-studio in Hyvinkää, Finland.
We will head our asses to the studio in the beginning of February 2009.

We're very sorry to announce that we had to cancel our gig in Helsinki!
Our vocalist Johanna suffers from the loss of her voice and she's unable to sing at the moment.

Hi there everyone! Dotma will be participating on the
Selvityjät private metalfest which will take place on 22th-24th of August 2008.
The week after that Dotma will be warming the stage for
Force Majeure and
Dreamtale in Club Liberte 30.8!
